Ritu Chander is a molecular biologist and Registered Patent Agent. Ritu has 17 years of experience in patent practice. She was a patent agent at the law offices of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where she drafted and successfully prosecuted patent applications in a variety of art forms. Further, she was a patent agent at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, where she drafted and prosecuted patent applications relating to confectionery formula and packaging, performed prior art searches, and acted as the liaison between scientists and outside counsel. Ritu also worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Sr. Patent Information Scientist, and prior to that as a Biologist in Research and Development of HIV diagnostics.
In addition, she provided International Search Reports and Written Opinions for PCT applications through Cardinal Intellectual Property, a government contractor of the RO/US.
Ritu founded Helix Patent Services in 2011 to more fully and flexibly meeting the needs of her global clientele.

Nikita Williams
Intellectual Propert Attorney
Nikita practices intellectual property law with a concentration on patent and trademark litigation and prosecution. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications involving a variety of technologies, including biotechnology, telecommunications, and automotive technology. Experience drafting patent opinions and licenses, handling trademark cancellation and opposition proceedings and managing large patent and trademark portfolios. Experience conducting trademark searches and patent prior art searches. Nikita has worked at firms such as Barns & Thornburg LLP, Ice Miller and Jones Day.
